CamGrader supports 25-question, 50-question, and 100-question bubble sheets (A–D format). Sheets are available as PDF and JPEG in multiple print darkness levels so they work reliably on any printer.
No. You can use any sheet format for any test length. For example, a 20-question test can use the 25-Q sheet. Students simply leave the extra bubbles blank and CamGrader grades only the questions on the answer key.
Yes. Student IDs, scores, and test results are stored in an encrypted local database on your device and are never shared with third parties. Deleting the app removes all data.
CamGrader is designed for classroom tests and teacher-created assessments. For state-mandated standardized tests, please follow your district's approved procedures.
Yes. CamGrader is fully offline. All grading happens on your device. No internet is required to scan, grade, or view results. An internet connection is only used to download answer sheet templates or install app updates.
Make sure you're using the correct answer sheet format for your test (25-Q, 50-Q, or 100-Q). Try a lighter print darkness if bubbles are too dark, or a darker print if they're too light. Hold the sheet flat, well-lit, and parallel to the screen. Download sheet templates from the Sheets tab inside the app.
This means the scanner detected more than one filled bubble for that question. Ask the student to re-check their sheet. If the sheet was clean but the error persists, try scanning at better lighting or with a lighter-darkness sheet.
Open the test, tap the Share / Export button, and choose "Export as CSV." The file includes each student's ID and score and can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or any gradebook that accepts CSV.
